
Distorted voices, getting louder and softer as you explore the med bay, looking for an escape route. It was humanoid, but moved wrong, and you didn't get a good look before it ran out of view. While walking past a large window, you saw a crewmember being chased by. One of the mission's scientists has been messaging you, telling you that things have gone horribly wrong.

You've just left a medical pod that you don't remember getting into. That shit creepy, especially because the hallway is pretty narrow and you can barely hide from her. It's relatively empty except for a few enemies, but a cyborg midwife hides at the other end and pretty much jumps out when you're halfway through, iirc. Somewhere later in the game, you can reach a "secret" subfloor hallway, connected to the rest of the level by an elevator or grav shaft at each end. This ambient makes me nervous and almost a bit ill in the stomach, it's just so ominous. It sounds super oppressive, and incorporates how tired and lonesome your character is. The creepy garden is somewhere next to it, but I find this scary as well: The openness is very threatening, and the ambient music is that low hum with a regularly increasing horn sound. The recreational area has this rather open space surrounding the elevator.

I hate this and find it scary because explodey droids always come looking for you through these doors, and as soon as the door opens it's basically too late for you, haha. There's this place where you are surrounded by four doors, I THINK it's the one in the cargo bay area. Hell corridor is that maze full of radiation and wrench mutants that chase you around, right? Godawful terrifying, especially at the first time and with that fast Drum n Bass music lol
